it is very strong in fighting infections from bacterial, virus, and fungal, such as tetanus, (from rusty old iron wounds)  influenza and infectious diseases like cholera, and typhoid. Very good oil to have around for colds and flu. Coughs, to loosen phlegm, Fatigue, Fevers. Just as Eucalyptus, Cajeput  is an expectorant, decongestant giving relief in congestion of the nose, throat and other respiratory organs.

Analgesic meaning reduces feeling of pain. Apply to infected tooth in case of toothache or rub on forehead in case of headache, gives quick relief. Very helpful for Varicose Veins , not just for pain but swelling. Can be used alone or conjunction with other oils for Rheumatism and other joint pain.

Cajeput is used in food and beverages as a flavoring. so is food safe
